Letter from the Mayor

Dear Residents:

With this letter I inform you that roadworks will start this Monday, September 17th, in Calle Nueva. This work is a continuation of the improvements in our basic infrastructure and will be carried out in phases which will affect the entire street, including from the corner of Calle Larga until the intersection with Calle Tinajones. As a result traffic along both Calle Nueva and Calle Alta will be disrupted during the coming months.

As a result vehicle exit, that is normally done through Calle Alta, will be redirected through Calle Larga which will again be a two way street during this time. Traffic will then exit down Calle Teodoro de Molina, Lorenzo Garcia and the Plazoleta.

As in the previous roadworks, the improvements will include the installation of a new drinking water network and its connection to each house, as well as the waste water supply, pipes for the future underground installation of electrical wiring and telephony, and new pavements.

We aim to complete the work as quickly as possible, but this will depend on weather conditions and unexpected additional work that may become apparent during the work.

I ask you to pay attention to the road signs that may change as we progress and apologize for the inconveniences that may be caused. We will try to make the inconvenience as little as possible and promptly notify all neighbors of any unplanned extra work that may arise.

For any questions or clarifications that you may need I am at your disposal at any time.
