Letter from the Mayor

Dear Residents:

With this letter I inform you that roadworks will start this Monday, September 17th, in Calle Nueva. This work is a continuation of the improvements in our basic infrastructure and will be carried out in phases which will affect the entire street, including from the corner of Calle Larga until the intersection with Calle Tinajones. As a result traffic along both Calle Nueva and Calle Alta will be disrupted during the coming months.
Junta de Andalucía are providing free Spanish classes which will begin next week. The classes are open to all and one can register at the town hall, with ID. Once the groups have been established the teacher will plan the level accordingly, probably a basic level. There may be intercambio evenings for those that attend the class.
Yesterday's “end of summer party” was cancelled due to the weather.
